I always wanted to be a mommy! I found my fiancé, Dan, and we have been together, almost for 6 years. !

We got engaged last year and together chose to live in a big home, preparing to welcome a child into our lives. We are kids at heart! We love spending time with babies and kids, playing, singing, and more. Dan has three adult children from a former marriage and adores them! It is so much fun to see them grow up while continuing to guide and educate them. Now that they are grown and have their own lives, it will be so wonderful to have a child at home again.
A big part of why I adore Dan is that he is an amazing, loving, involved, supportive father. He has 3 kids from his former marriage: twins, a boy & a girl, who are 23 years olds. They have recently finished college, started working and are independent. He also has 16-year-old daughter who lives with her mother. She is almost ready to get her drivers license! Dan has an amazing relationship with his kids. He is always supportive, loving, kind and generous with them. He cherished every moment when they were growing up. He schedules family events and vacations such as ski trips with them. He has been active in training them in sports like lacrosse, baseball, soccer, wrestling - you name it!

About Us

We both had childhoods filled with love and extended large families. Growing up, the kids played while the adults cooked and chatted. Both of our mums are great cooks and seamstresses. Cicek's mum is a strong, intelligent woman who worked hard to provide for her children. We are very lucky and blessed to have such a special and close relationship with our nieces. They know that we will always be there for them and be the cool auntie and uncle ready to help them in any way that we can or just have fun spoiling them. We know they will love your child and are already excited to have a baby cousin to take care of.

Dan's mum was a hard-working nurse, and she got all of her kids involved in household chores. Dan's dad was a union carpenter who always taught home or automotive projects like mowing the lawn and changing brakes in a car. Dan also has a younger brother and two wonderful nephews. Although they live far away from us, we see each other often during the holidays and other family reunions. We enjoy our time together, from apple picking to skiing - family time is the best! Our nieces and nephews get along great. The cousins especially like Thanksgiving dinner together. We have so many special memories and time together and are so excited to create the same traditions with your child.

Meet Cicek

Cicek is a happy, cheery, full of energy, social, good-natured and determined woman. She amazes me how she keeps developing herself in every aspect of life to be more, know more, and love more. She is a master in her craft of marketing at work. At home, she learns about trails to hike, shores to ride bikes on and the cuisines of different cultures to enjoy. She has a big heart and is involved with several charitable organizations, such as volunteering at the children's hospital comforting sick babies. She is also a strong-willed, independent go-getter that makes things happen. I think it comes from her background, being a descendent of Turkey, starting from nothing here in the United States!

I was born in Turkey and grew up with my mom, sister & grandparents. My dad passed away in a traffic accident when I was a baby. Although I did not get to enjoy time with my dad, I always felt loved and protected by my family.
Education is very important to me. I went to a great school and worked hard to get good grades. I studied business in college because I liked (and was good at) math, plus the creative side of business was interesting to me. I have a successful career that I love and can work from the comfort of our home. I want to assure you that not only can we provide a financially secure life for your child, but we also both have a lot of work flexibility so that we can make being a mother and father our #1 priority.

I am always active. I enjoy a lot of different types of sports and activities. Depending on the time of year, I will spend a few hours a week biking, walking, hiking, swimming, doing yoga, playing tennis or taking a nice long walk.

Meet Dan

My fiancé Dan is the most loving and generous guy I have ever met. As a successful entrepreneur he is so supportive of his staff, acknowledging their success and hard work. He creates a wonderful working environment for them. He just recently gifted a Disney vacation to his right-hand man and his family!

Dan is very family oriented, passionate and committed to taking care of everyone around him. He has a heart of gold and would run to help anyone in need, even strangers on the street, as soon as he notices that they need help. He is observant, empathetic, understanding and has a lot of patience.

I am an Italian-American man who comes from a large family that is very supportive and loving. Besides special events, we meet with my family every Thanksgiving. There are typically about 30 people including my sister, brother, nephews, niece, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Raising my kids was a wonderful experience, which was extremely entertaining every day! When they were little, I thought they were funny and very inquisitive. They wanted to learn everything and do things themselves. They made me laugh, see life from a different perspective and brought me back to being a kid again!

I own a family business of over 25 years with a great reputation in our industry. My company operates in five states and I am committed to expanding my business nationally.

Our Home

We live in a beautiful town in a private, gated residential home. Everything is close by and the schools in the area are excellent. We also have some really great restaurants, shopping centers and several parks close by. We love where we live and are excited to welcome a baby into our home one day soon.

We live in a 3-floor house that is spacious and cozy. We have a fully finished basement with lots of space for a play area! There is a large deck off the dining room, nestled in the privacy of our landscaped yard. We have 3 bedrooms with the child's room near our bedroom.

Our community has a playground, tennis and basketball courts, club house with a community room and lounge, gym, barbecue, fire pit and sitting area. We are also only half an hour away from the shore. In the summertime, we can easily go to the beach for a little picnic, biking, walking or swimming!

About Nicolette, Sebastian & Sofia

I have 3 children from a previous marriage: Nicolette, Sebastian & Sofia. Nicolette lives locally, and we see her often. She is a teacher and loves kids! She has a special and unique way that she interacts and connects with children. My son Sebastian and youngest Sofia do not live locally, but we keep in touch and see each other as often as possible. They are excited to have a baby brother or sister!

As my kids grow, I have been very proud. I took care of all their needs from baths to diaper changes and late night feedings. I read them books, took them to their games and taught them sports like karate, horseback riding, wrestling, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, skiing, ice skating and more. They are all great athletes! They are also accomplished in their studies and now in their careers.

I would love to create the same for our child - help him/ her learn to be self-sufficient, eager and living in a world of his/ her own creation. I look forward to having fun, laughter, sports, traveling and just enjoying life.

Unplugged

We spend Christmas in Colorado and New Years Eve in Hawaii. We like to ski, camp, hike or simply hit the beach with the kids during that time. Traveling to new places and really taking in the different cultures is amazing. We love to experience new foods, try out different recipes when we get home and then test the new dishes out on family and friends. We also love learning new languages. Between the two of us, we speak English, Turkish, some German, Spanish, Italian and a little French - enough to get by when needed.
We really cannot wait to experience all of this with a child one day, We think this would be an incredibly special way to learn and grow together!
In our free time, we like to cook together, garden, listen to music and read in our downtime. We also really enjoy listening to music, anything from rock to country!
There is nothing like being on the water. We find it so relaxing to be out at sea. Eating good food, swimming and spending time with friends on the boat... what could be better 🙂
Sailing is something we are both passionate about. We both grew up by the water and found love for boats, water and everything that comes with the sport at a young age. At some point, it will be nice to have a small boat to sail out to the sea, enjoy the sea breeze, cook fresh seafood, and relax.

Our Family

Family is extremely important to both of us. Our parents are a big part of our lives. They gave us all their love and every opportunity. We both have amazing sisters who live in great locations in the US, one in Colorado and the other in Hawaii. We have 3 nieces in total and love spending time with them. We celebrated Christmas together with our sisters and nieces in Colorado and then went to Hawaii to spend the New Years Eve this year! We are very lucky and blessed to have such a special and close relationship with our nieces.
