When you look at the cost of adoption, you may become overwhelmed. Don’t let the cost scare you away from the process. There are many ways to fund your adoption. We want to help you through every step of this process. We have provided some resources to help you gather the support and funds. LIFE SONG FOR ORPHANS

Life Song for Orphans offers matching grants up to $4,000 and interest-free loans up to $13,000.

JSC ADOPTION FOUNDATION

JSC Adoption Foundation partners with families by providing adoption grants.

A CHILD WAITS FOUNDATION

A Child Waits Foundation is a non-profit, charitable foundation that makes low-cost loans to families adopting internationally. Eligibility to obtain a loan is based on financial need and each case is judged individually.

FIRST UNION BANK'S ADOPTION LOAN PROGRAM

First Union Bank’s Adoption Loan Program is available to people living in CT, DE, FL, GA, MD, NC, NJ, NY or VA. First Union also offers adoption financing. Contact Tom Shelton at (888) 414-0246 or thomas.shelton@usbank.com.

THE HEBREW FREE LOAN ASSOCIATION

The Hebrew Free Loan Association provides interest-free loans to Jewish adults wanting to adopt internationally or domestically. A single person, or couple, after demonstrating additional need, may borrow up to $10,000 toward the expenses incurred for the adoption of a child. They can be reached at (415) 546-9902.

NATIONAL ADOPTION FOUNDATION

National Adoption Foundation is the country’s only national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial support, information, and services for adoptive and prospective adoptive families, this foundation has recently expanded their programs to include home equity loans, as well as unsecured loans and grants for adoption expenses. GOD'S GRACE ADOPTION MINISTRY

God’s Grace Adoption Ministry provides adoption grants and no-interest loans to eligible families.

SHAOHANNAH'S HOPE

​Shaohannah’s Hope group awards financial grants to qualified families already in the process of domestic and international adoption.

GIFT OF ADOPTION

Gift of Adoption is a non-profit charitable organization with chapters across the U.S., Gift of Adoption provides grants to individuals and couples. Their primary goal in domestic adoptions is to prevent children from going into the foster care system and to keep siblings together. Their primary focus in international adoptions is to keep siblings together, prevent a child from ‘aging out’ of the orphanage system, prevent children with special needs from becoming institutionalized, and facilitating the placement of a child.

HOME FOR GOOD FOUNDATION

Home for Good Foundation offers resources, grants, loans, and matching funds; focusing on adoption of older children, children with special needs, and sibling groups.

MILITARY NON-RECURRING PROGRAM

Military Non-Recurring Program is a one-time subsidy program for full-time military personnel. Adopting couples or singles can receive up to $2,000 reimbursement on adoption expenses for one child or $5,000 for siblings. Eligible personnel should complete DD Form 2675 (Reimbursement For Adoption Expense). See Defense Finances and Accounting Service Instruction 1341.

A CHANCE FOR A CHILD

A Chance for a Child is a not-for-profit organization created to provide financial assistance to adoptive families or to children waiting to be adopted, both domestically and internationally.

WE CARE FOR ORPHANS ADOPTION FUND

We Care For Orphans Adoption Fund was started to help families with the resources needed to make their adoption a reality.

BOTH HANDS

Both Hands‘ mission is to fulfill James 1:27 by serving orphans, widows, and Christian adoptive families.

THE ADOPTION TAX CREDIT

The Adoption Tax Credit can help families with the cost of adoption and even help to pay off adoption loans.
